Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father abandoned her family when she wasn't even yet a teenager. Brink, then 14, became pregnant and she had to quit the high school she attended. In order to support her family, she moved in with her son Davion after the birth. Brink was in her first band Pulse from Albany in New York. They played most of the local shows performed by bands such as Coal Chamber & Sevendust. But later the band split. After moving into Los Angeles from California at the age of 25, Brink moved to Los Angeles in 2002. Brink was a regular in coffee shops, bars and shops while looking for the perfect band. In an audition, she got to meet Chris Howorth two years after first meeting Howorth two years prior. Howorth would not audition her since she was female. Howorth quickly changed his mind and even apologized for his decision after listening to her sing. They started the Dying Stars band with Jeff Fabb, a drummer. Blake Bunzel, Josh Newell and Josh Bunzel later added to the band. After two shows, the band changed its names to In This Moment.
